DR Sponsorship Changes

**Current DR Sponsors should have received an email regarding this and should be expecting a phone call soon**

The community of Carrera de Palma, where the children live, is changing. It has always been a poor community, but over the years, there have been increasingly fewer job opportunities. This has made the community much more transient, and we see families moving out much more frequently than we used to. Families that used to stay for decades, now stay for 1-3 years before moving to follow a better opportunity.

Don't get me wrong, there are still A LOT of children living there, and Mathilde's house stays overflowing with kids. But this means your assigned child may move out of the community sometime in the future. If so, we would love to assign you a new child that is there, but we will keep you with your current child for as long as possible.

It is no surprise that prices are rising everywhere. To keep up with inflation and provide everything promised in the sponsorship program, we will be raising the monthly sponsorship from $25 monthly to $30 monthly. We have never increased sponsorship prices and would not do this unless it was absolutely necessary. This change will take effect on November 1st. If this is not possible for you and your family, it is always an option to continue giving $25 monthly to the DR ministry in general OR give $25 monthly to support our DR missionary, Claudia.

2023 Annual Golf Tournament

Thank you so much to everyone who was a part of our 2023 Annual Golf Tournament! We had a full field of golfers and beautiful weather for golf. We were able to raise over $10,000 for our international ministries!

We also want to say a HUGE thank you to all of our lunch and hole sponsors. The event would not be possible without your donations!
